Aero Club Pays its Tribute to Mr Nash
Mr. J. A. Nash, M.P., has received the following letter from the Manawatu Aero Glub: —’‘In acknowledging your message stating that the Minister of Defence has advised you that he has approved of the oihcial recognitiou ot the Middle Districts Aero Club embracing Feilding, Manawatu and Levin, for the purpose of subsidy on pilots trained and the loan of Government aircraft, I wish to convey to you sincere thanks for your active co-opera-tion in support of the representations which havo been made for some time past towards obtaining this recognition, which is a matter of very considerable importance to the progress and development of club . aviation in these districts. In addition to this particular matter, there have also been quite a number of occasions during the past several years on which your support has been asked for and obtained in a very able and thorough manner in matters concerned with the interests of aviation in this district, and which have earned the gratitude of tho club and have been in the general interests of the community.”
