Friends of Mr Chas. Masters, known to many Pahiatua residents during his association with Messrs A. Steveuson and Sons, construction workers, who met with a very serious accident whim engaged in shifting a metal drag some three mouths ago near Sanson, will regret to learn that he is still a patient iu tho Palmerston North Hospital. When ho was at first admitted his condition was considered particularly grave, but thanks to his strong constitution and capable hospital treatment,. he is making a good recovery and beforo long should bo able to be wheeled about, although it will stiL be weeks before the injured foot will stand walking on. Meanwhile his many friends wish him well and a complete recovery.
