GERMANY AS SEEN BY ONE OP HER LEADERS Received Thursday, 9.00 p.m. BERLIN, Nov. 21. "An island of peace in the midst of a world shaken by crises, strikes, risings and revolutions” is how Dr. Go°ebbels described Germany when speaking to 50,000 at Hamburg. He added: "‘ Germany is now a sovereign free nation whose policy is no longer at the mercy of other nations.”
