Dance at Girls' High School
The garden fete at tlio Girls’ High School was brought to a very successful termination witli a danco held in the school on Wednesday evening. This proved a very cheery function for those attending, Mr C. J. Ball ably controlling proceedings and Mr W. t ■ Caple supplying excellent music. Mrs M. Bhodes, principal of the Girls’ High School', wore a graceful frock of black floral georgette with lame evening coat. Also present were Mrs B. J. Jacobs, in floral georgette; Mrs S. T. Bristow, black silk crepe; Mrs Stagpoole, green windswept satin; Mrs Sankey, blue mctalasse; Mrs Bong,, red floral inarocain; Mrs Radci'iffc, floral georgette; Mrs Wollermau, flora] silk voile; Mrs Grant, checked linen; Mrs B. Edwards, black. Members of the Parents’ Association committee served a delicious supper. While there are a number of competitions to be concluded when the final returns are made, it is hoped the returns will amply repay the promoters for the hard work entailed m this annual effort and the enthusiasm displayed.-
