Preparations for the Golden Jubilee Show

The Manawatu Golden Jubilee Show will open at 0 a.m. on November 7, and early visiters will have an opportunity to see the preening of the stock in preparing for the judging. Here again stock exhibitors are reminded that all entries in these classes close to-mor-row. On the Thursday afternoon of the show at 2.4:5 p.m., patrons will se.e the steer riding competition, and this popular attraction should provide many thrills this year. Novelty entertainment will be provided- by ChunTuen Tai in the motor hall at 3.30 p.m., and again at 7.30 and 9.30. The grand parade will take plaeo at 2 p.m. on the Friday. Cliun Tuen Tai will he seen again at 4 p.m., and at hi 3 usual times (7.30 and 9.30) in the evening. Saturday’s programme includes the national dancing competitions, and intending competitors are reminded that entries close on October 24, at the secretary’s officej ,
