The New Zealand Rugby football team’s forwards discussed tactics for over an hour. They are determined to find remedies for their poor scrummaging. Tho manager (Mr. V. R. Meredith) is urging that more life and dash should be put into their play and is making an effort to curtail the entertainment programme at Cardiff, as he is convinced that more sleep and earlier nights arc essential. The newspapers predict that the tourists will encounter a difficult week in Wales. Tho Llanelly team includes four internationals, although Ivor Jones and Dai John aro veterans, the latter playing against the New Zealanders in 1924. Both arc in excellent form. (Ivor Jones visited New Zealand with the British team in 1930.)
Tho All Black team for the match on Tuesday is as follows: Full-back: G. Gilbert. Three-quarters: N. Mitchell, C. J. Oliver, G. F. Hart.
