WELLINGTON, Last Night

The depression has passed away eastwards and a moderate anti-cyclone is moving on to the Dominion to-day. Winds: Light to moderate southerly becoming variable, but fresh easterlies prevailing soon in the far north Seas (New Zealand waters): Smooth to moderate. Eastern Tasman: Moderate to fresh east winds in the far northern portion With rather rough seas; elsewhere winds light and variable and later tending to northerly with smooth to moderate seas.

Weather: Fair to /me generally but some scattered showers likely in the far north. A cold night with many frosts, but temperatures becoming milder from to-morrow.
