Mr. Mischel Cherniavsky, who is now living in a beautiful country home with 16 acres, at Saxnrundhani, Suffox, has just returned from a tour of South Africa. This is the. first time he has toured a country without his brothers. In May of next year, ho will visit South America, and ho hopes again to visit New Zealand. Mr. Cherniavsky's three sons have taken up either tho •’cello or violin. The eldest, Michael, has a Westminster scholarship, .David has obtained a music scholarship for Clifton College, and John is at Windsor. When he goes to New Zealand he hopes to have the two older boys with him. bince becoming an impressario, Mr. Alexander Cherniavsky has had a very busy life, and has arranged many important tours. Just now ho is engaged in arranging the music for the 1936 South. African Exhibition, to be held in Johannesburg.
