PAHIATUA. At the monthly meeting Mrs J. D. C. Crowe presided. Before tho meeting commenced Mrs Crewe asked members to stand in silenco in memory of the late Mrs J. S. Bissett. A guessing competition was won by Mrs L. T. Herbert. After afternoon tea had been dispensed by the hostesses, Mrs Thompson, Misses Kuskell and Hoggard, an interesting and instructive demonstration was given by Mrs S. Raleigh, of Alfredton, on the wiring of flowers. Members agreed to the donation of 10s to the health camp campaign fund. Mrs and Miss Raleigh judged \he points competitions which resulted as follow: Vase of flowers of one shade, Mrs. Etz 1 ahd 2; plate of toffee, Mrs Mackley 1 and 2.
