In preparation for the advent of tho summer season the road from Eoxton township to the beach has been metalled, and is at present not cuticing to motorists. Tho roadway through to tho river beach front near tho Post Ofiieo also requires attention to make it safer for motorists aad to increase tho popularity of the seaside resort during tho summer. The winter winds havo to some extent covered tho fascinod track leading from tho end of the old riverbed to the ocean beach, but no doubt this will be remedied before the holiday season.
