Received Thursday, 9.50 p.m. SYDNEY, Sept. 26.
At the wool sales to-day 12,434 bales were offered and 11,154 sold, also 852 privately. Tho market closed at the best point of the week with competition strong aud keen, particularly from Japan, Yorkshire, Germany and France. There was, however, some irregularity for burry aud dusty fleece aud skirtings. Greasy Merino sold to lS;}d.
