A savoury supper was supplied" by the lady members of the club and afterwards tho president, Mr W. S. Bong, presented the prizes. The competition for the largo while koala hear was concluded, tho winner being Miss G. Morgan ol Uangiwahia. Golf. Next Saturday’s competition for men will bo a bogey match, the ladies holding a club day. The closing of the season will be held on October 6 when an all day’s golf tournament will bo held. There will be numerous competitions such as putting, novelly putting, approaching, long driving championship and handicap and four-ball events. The prizes won during the season will also he presented. Members of neighbouring clubs are being invited to attend.
