From Our Own Correspondent. Personal. The many friends of Airs. S. Ross will have heard with regret of her having to enter a private hospital in tho city, and will join in wishing- her a speedy recovery. Airs. W. Fell and Aliss E. Voss were the guests of their sister, Airs. Al. AlacDonald, of Johnsonville, during tho week-end. Airs. C. Proctor, of Umutoi, is the guest of Airs. C. Croucher. Tho sympathy of tho district is extended to tho mailman, Air. E. F. Spiers, who suffered a sad bereavement in tlio death of his wife last Sunday, after a long illness. General. The young people of tho district are busy practising for their Sunday School anniversary which is to be bold tho first week in October. The Bible class is working up a playette and it is anticipated that their efforts will bo as much, appreciated as on former occasions. Bast Saturday afternoon the children of tlio school were the guests of Alaster Noel Robinson on tlio occasion of his ninth birthday. Under perfect weather conditions an enjoyable afternoon was spent in playing various games and partaking of afternoon tea. Master Roy Alorley congratulated the young host upon the happy occasion and as tint evening shadows fell the tired but happy littlo guests dispersed.
