Shunter Killed in Christchurch Yards
Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, Last Night. Victor Clarence Wiilyams, a shunter, was killed in the passenger yard at the Christchurch railway station this morning at 11 o’clock. Wiilyams stepped off the cow catcher of an engine and was struck by a van on an adjacent lino. The impact threw him back against the train lie had stepped off and ho was crushed between two cars following the engine.
