BUSINESS MAN FOUND DEAD. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, Aug. 20. With his arms folded and sitting in a chair as though asleep, Air. Thomas Buchanan, aged 67, was found dead in his office in tho city shortly before i> o'clock this morning. By tho morning’s mail a solicitor received a Jotter from Mr. Buchanan, saying, "By tho time you have received this I will have faced my Aluker.” Air. Buchanan was a widely-known and popular official of tho Auckland Rugby Union. II? was also a life member of tho Taranaki Rugby Union. While in Taranaki ho was chairman of tho Education Board and a well-known racehorse owner under the name of W. Raleigh.
