Oldest Living Boy Scout

X J er Press Association. NEW PLYMOUTH, July 25. Believed to be the oldest living Boy Scout in the world, Major F. W. Sandford, of New Plymouth, has resigned from the position of Dominion Headquarters Commissioner fo’r scout training. The New Zealand Boy Scout movement began in 190 S and Major Sandford was first associated witn it in 1909. He is now S 3 years of age. The Dominion Executive of the Scout Association has written to Major Saudfo’rd expressing regret that advancing years has caused him to decide to resign.
