Quetta ’Quakes Continue

United Press Association.— By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. Received Sunday, 9.50 P- m - LONDON, June 8.

A Calcutta message states that the Indian Government reports that a survey of the ruined villages is incomplete but the present estimate is that from 12,000 to 15,000 were killed. The total death roll including Quetta will probably' be over 40,000. In one village there were only nine survivors out of a population of 200.

Quetta reports a continuance of earthquake shocks. The British Government is voting £50,000 to the Quetta relief fund when the House reassembles. Gifts to the Lord Mayor’s fund include the King £SOO, the Queen £250, the Prince of \v ales £125, the Duke and Duchess of York and the Duke and Duchess of Kent £SO each.

The Indian Government has granted £75,000 to tho Quetta relief fund.
