The Golf Grievance
(To the Editor.) Sir, —Your correspondent “Ratepayer'' appears to have a grudge against the game. J. suppose every day of the week either wife or family go jogging off to golf in the old benzine box, whilf poor old Pop does his daily grind and spends his leisure hours alone, smoking in front of the lire and reading about the sins of the City Council taking away property from people who have no moral or legal right to sit permanently on laud which was dedicated for other purposes. Poor Golf widower! You are to bo pitied, and you arc not alone in your trouble. -Many hundreds of others, through ignorance, arc suffering from the same sad complaint. I say "sad" for the reason it is so easily curable. “ Ratepayer!'' Join the happy throng! Pc one of the great crowd who enjoy the open spaces, the companionship the delight of walloping the pimply faced little (or the ground).
