Mr Roldie King, missioner, of Wellington, will be the preacher at both services at ' the United Evangelical Church. His subject at 11 a.m. will be one that should bo most helpful to Christians particularly, “Prophecy and tho Bible.’.' At 7 p.m. his subject will bo “Power," a message for the discouraged and defeated. Mr King considers if there ever was a day when preaching should be such as will bring comfort and deliverance to the lives of those who arc particularly feeling the heat and bvrrdcu of tho day, it is
now. A warm invitation is extended to everybody.
At St. Paul’s Methodist Church tomorrow evening, Drl Ulrie Williams, of Wanganui, will speak on ‘'The Effect of Christ in My Life.” The doctor has a wonderful' story to tell, showing a background for his theories on disease and health, and his address is one that should be heard by all seekers after truth. Miss G. Laurcnson will bo the soloist at the evening service. A welcome is extended to all to attend the Emmanuel Congregational Church services to-morrow. At 11 a.m. the minister will' begin a snort series of expositions in the book of the prophet Malachi. The first address tomorrow will bo “The Prophet’s Message to the Priests.” At 5.30 a service at the Public Hospital will be held, and at 7 p.m. there will bo the evangelistic service, the subject being, “The Salvation of Zacchaeus.” A warm welcome is extended to all. Rev. Itaymond Simpson is the preacher.
