Australia is initiating a world-wide movement at Geneva next week, aiming at greater consumption of food as part of an international policy to solve tlic problems of over-supply and underconsumption. At t'h.o International Labour Conference, Australia will move, and New Zealand second, that joint consideration should bo given to health and agriCulturo in order to secure greater consumption of health-giving foods. Britain and several Continental countries will support the resolution, which will be further discussed at the League of Nations Assembly in September, after which, it is expected, a League committeo will inquire into the. problem.
