Very pleasant weather conditions prevailed over Easter and the golf links were well patronised. Some good cards were handed in for the competitions. The Easter Saturday medal round resulted in a win for T. 0 ’Rourke with a net score of G 5. The Easter Monday four-ball bogey was very keenly contested and resulted in a tie between three pairs, the best cards being: A. Bailey and D. Spelman, 2 up; W. Smart and R. Smart, 2 up; H. Fitzherbert and K. Innes, 2 up; C. Spelman and Prcshaw, all square. Rain and wind caused much unpleasantness on Saturday (27th), when a medal round was played in conjunction with the second round of Mr J. McDonald’s trophy. T. O’Eourko again proved the winner of tho medal round. Tho best net scores were: T. O’Eourke 68, E. Smart CO, T. Lcamy 71, W. Smart 71, J. McDonald 72, H. Fitzherbort 72, C. Spelman 7-1, J. Dut'hic 77, D. Spelman 79. Tho first round of Goldfinch and Cousins cup must finish by May 11.
