YOUNG MAN ON BICYCLE Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, Last Night. A young man on a bicycle snatched a woman’s handbag in Epsom avenue about 10.30 last night. He rode off and has not been traced. Miss Helen Eraser, of .Mount Eden, was on her way home and was opposite the Mount Eden bowling green when her handbag was snatched from her hand. She made an exclamation, thinking for a moment that it was some young man playing a joke, but when she saw a cyclist pedalling fast down the street, lier surprise turned to dismay and she called for help. It was all in vain. The handbag did not contain money, but in it were the keys of her house. She believes the cyclist was masked.
