“The Royal Cavalcade” Is Jubilee Film
Something in the nature of a record has been made at the 8.1. P. studios in the shooting of “The Royal Cavalcade,” the Jubilee film which has been made to commemorate the ivmg's reign, m tne short period of a few weeks an enormous amount of work has been completed in record-breaking time, ami it is a great tribute to the efficiency of the studio that five sections of a film can be made simultaneously. To make this possible, no fewer than live directors were working on the production The film has been completed in time to be shown throughout the British Isles and the Empire during the Jubilee Week celebrations in May, and this is coming to New Zealand and Australia by air mail. R. L. Grant, of British Empire films, has received the following message, after the pre-view of “Royal Cavalcade”: “Daily Mail refers to ‘Royal Cavalcade’ preview at the Regal, London, last night as a splendidly conceived and magnificently produced film, representing great achievement by British International Pictures. lij must be a triumphant success wherever shown, arid should be seen in every cinema throughout the British Empire. ’»
