In connection with tho announcement made in yesterday’s issue by Mr C. G. C. Dormer concerning tho meetings he is to address in the Kiwitea County furthering his candidature for a scat on the Manawatu-Oroua Power Board, Mr Dormer stated yesterday that as he is unable to secure tho Rcwa hall ho will not now be able to address a meeting in that district. At the Fcilding Magistrate's Court yesterday Louis J. Hansby, a tobacconist, of Feiiding, was fined 20s and 10s costs by Mr R. M. Watson, S.M., for failing to keep a time-book as required by the Shops and Offices Act.
