Demonstration at Civic Reception
RIVAL FACTIONS FIGHT -WITH BOTTLES AND HAMMERS. United Press Association.—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. * EDINBURGH, April 28. Two thousand persons demonstrated at the City Hall when the Protestant Action Society protested against a civic reception to a delegate to the Catholic Young Men’s Society’s Conference. All the police were called out and the rival factions fought with bottles and hammers. Mounted police rodo in scattering tho crowd.
