Aberdeen Angus Dispersal Sale

GOOD PRICES IN HAWKE’S BAY Per Press Association. HASTINGS, Last Night. Approximately 6700 guineas was realised at the first day of the Waitercnui Aberdeen Angus dispersal' sale today, when 237 cows and calves were offered. The top price obtained was 2SO guineas, while other animals sold up to ISO guineas. The average price was in the vicinity of 30 guineas. The sale attracted considerable interest, with buyers present from all parts of tho Dominion and also Australia. Competition throughout was excellent-, with animals of the famous Flower strain selling exceedingly well. Heifers and bulls will bo sold to-mor-row, when, it is anticipated, further keen competition wil be forthcoming.
