EXPENDITURE AUTHORISED Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Last Night. In accordance with the policy of the Government, tho graves of New Zealand soldiers whoso deaths are held by the War Pensions Board to be attributable to war service, are put iu order aud provided with headstones from time to timo as required. In this connection tho Minister for Internal Affairs (Sir Alexander Young) stated to-day that he had authorised expenditure on work requiring to be done to war graves in the following cemeteries: Waipukurau soldiers’ cemetery, £2 10s; O’Neill’s Point cemetery, £l3 12s; Taruheru soldiers’ cemetery, £l9; Sydenham cemetery, £S 17s Sd; Rotorua soldiers’ cemetery, £10; Nelson cemetery, £9; Eastern Necropolis soldiers’ cemetery, £66; Waikumete soldiers’ cemetery, £42 38s; Eastern soldiers’ cemetery, £5 ss; Hillsborough cemetery, £7 3s; Hastings cemetery, £9 7s; Kelvin Grove public cemetery, £7 10s; Waikumete public cemetery, £3 Gs Gd; total, £204 9s 2d.
