Abyssinia Appeals For League Intervention

United Press Association.—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. GENEVA, March 1!). Abyssinia lias appealed to the League Council to intervere in tho Italian dispute. It declares that there is imminent danger of a rupture as any local incident may serve as a pretext for military action. Ethiopia’s independence as a member of the Lcaguo is imperilled. Abyssinia also invokes Article 10 of the League Covenant, whereby members agree to protect the integrity of fellow’ members of the League.
