Permanent Waving Mishap
WOMAN WHO WAS BURNED SECURES DAMAGES Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Last Night. Damages to the extent of £25 were awarded plaintiff by Mr W. F. Stillwell, S.M., in a reserved decision given to-day in a case in which Mrs Violet Eveline Towers claimed £SO from Ivan Barbarc Riche, a hairdresser, for burns received while having her hair permanently waved. The Magistrate said negligence might reasonably be inferred against defendant.
