Fijian Yack Sighted at Caps Maria Van.Diemen

“ALL WELL” REPORTED Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, March 19. A yacht which signalled her name as the Maimai, of Fiji, was sighted from the lighthouse at Cape Maria van Diemen at 11 o’clock this morning. She was making east at a speed of 10 knots and reported “All Well.” Nothing is known of the .movements of the Maimai and she is not known to yachtsmen. in Auckland. When the vessel passed the lighthouse there was only a light breeze, so that to make 10 knots it is assumed that she is either a steam yacht or is equipped with an auxiliary engine. As she was heading east, it is expected that the vessel will arrive at Auckland or one of the northern ports to-niorruw.
