The New Zealand Broadcasting Board announces that tenders have been called for a national transmitter to bo erected within 20 miles of Wellington. The powerwill bs 60 kilowatts (aerial energy.) Tenders will close early in June and the station should he operating about a year from that time. It will be possible to hear the proposed station day and night all over the Dominion.
