The Canton Government has offered a reward of 5000 dollars, and the owners of the Tungckow 2500 dollars, for the capture of the chief of t-ho group responsible for the recent piracy. The Canton authorities have sent a regiment of trpops to the Bias Bay area from Waichow, while troops from Canton aro also taking active, strenuus measures for the apprehension of the pirates. Special orders have been given to Magistrates and troops in the area. Meanwhile it is learned that H.M.S. Decoy, which returned here, landed a number of Chinese troops in the Swabue area.
