Mainly Fair to Fine Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Last Night. The recent, storm area has passed eastwards and a slight depression, however, appears to be forming cast of Bass Strait. Winds: Moderate and variable, but southerlies predominating. Seas (New Zealand waters): Rough north of Farewell Spit and in Foveaux Strait, but decreasing; elsewhere moderate. Eastern Tasman Sea: Moderate southerly winds and moderate seas. Weather: Mainly fair to line, but light scattered showers are likely, more especially in the far north and south. Temperatures cold, but becoming milder from to-morrow.
