Evening Wedding Celebrated at Foxton

WILSON—COLEY.

All' Saints’ Church, Eoxton, was the scene of a very pretty evening wedding of considerable local interest on Wednesday last, the contracting parties being Jean Marion, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. Coley, and Arctus Marne Wilson, son of Mrs. C. Bctersou, and tho lato L. Wilson. J.he Rev. H. S. Kenney was the ofliciating clergyman. The bride looked very charming in a frock of ivory elephant crepo cut on long, slira-iitting lines, with a cowl neck and train. Her beautiful sheaf was comprised of cream roses, Christmas lilies and maidenhair fern. Miss ilcna McArtncy, who attended as bridesmaid, looked very sweet in a frock of pink floral pique voile with large erinotine picturo hat trimmed with piulc satin ribbon. She also carried a sheaf of pink roses and maidenhair fern. Mr. R. Read carried out the duties of best man. Upou leaving the church, tho bride was presented with a silver horse-shoe by her small piece, Betty Coley. A reception was subsequently held at the Moutoa Tea Rooms, where the bride’s parents received about sixty guests. The happy couple left later by car for Napier where their houeymooti will bo spent. Tho bride was weariug a grey tweed swagger suit, with white hat, shoes and. liaud bag.
