Rongotea

From Our Own Correspondent. A project to convert one of tho unoccupied squares in the centre of Rongotea into a children’s playing area was revived at the Town Board meeting and there is every prospect of the plan being carried through. With the increasingly fast motor traffic on the roads it is felt that there is necessity for tho provision of a convenient play ground and this site should prove an ideal one. Perhaps there are public-minded parents and residents w’ho would be willing to assist the board with provision of the necessary equipment Mr. G. Aggott, who has been ill for the past fortnight, is about again and his friends will wish him a speedy restoration to health. Miss N. Kennedy is visiting Tokomaru for a few days.
