AWARDED BLUE AT OXFORD United Press Association.—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. Received Tuesday, 7 p.m. LONDON, Nov. 19. Mr Malcolm Cooper, B.Sc. (Agric.), New Zealand Rhodes Scholar at Oxford University, has been awarded his blue for Rugby football.

Mr Cooper, who was until recently a student at .Massey Agricultural Coilegt, left for England in August, and thus has lost no time in making the expected name for himself in Oxford sports. He is well known to Rugby enthusiasts in the Manawatu, having captained tho Massey College team for three years and played in representative games for Manawatu on numerous occasions, several' times leading the side. He also represented New Zealand Universities against the Australian university combination when it toured New Zealand two years ago. He is a rangy forward with the hands of a back, and his style of football —the fast, open game—would be quickly appreciated in England. He hails from Hawke’s Bay.
