Ridge Road

From Our Own Correspondent. . Settlers along the Ridge road are feeling very satisfied with the prevailing conditions. Grass everywhere is coming on in abundance and stock is looking well. Shearing will soon be in full swingon the Awawaro estate as also on the other farms in the neighbourhood. , Mr- and Airs. Andy Pettigrew and their daughter, of Haicomho, were week-end visitors and were the guests of Air. and Mrs. F. Youle. The Ridge road community was very pleased to have their company at the fortnightly dance which, as usual, was an enjoyable affair. Mrs. Wimp and her infant daughter, of Auckland, are staying with Atr. and Airs F. Youle.
