KING TO BROADCAST SPEECH

Before the launching of the Gunard liner No. 53-1, the King will deliver at 2.50 p.m. a short broadcast speech, which will bo relayed to the Dominions and America. Launching Next Wednesday PRESENCE OF ROYALTY (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, Sept. 21. Arrangements are practically complete I‘or the launching of the giant Gunard-White Star liner No. 531 in the presence of the King and Queen next Wednesday. The Prince of Wales will also attend the ceremony and afterwards will return to Balmoral Castle with their .Majesties. At the King’s express wish the veteran workers in the Clydebank shipyard who had been engaged on the building of the 531 and other great vessels which have been launched from the slipway, will be introduced to his Majesty.
