Wanganui College Old Girls’ Re-union
Old girls of Wanganui College once again united in a happy social gathsiing at the tearooms of Messrs Collin* son and Cuuninghame oil Thursday afternoon, September 20. Hostesses for the afternoon were Miss Margaret Holder, assisted by Miss Marjorie Howland, in the absence of Miss Ray worth. Several' new members arrived, coming from Sanson and Kiwitea. Apologies for absence were received from Mrs Cook, Mrs Mylroi, Mrs Shannon, Miss Grant, Mrs Wingate and Mrs Andrews. .Entertainment was provided by a mannequin parade in progress in the main tearooms. The ballot for hostesses for tlic next .reunion resulted in the names of Mrs Smith and Sirs Adcock being drawn. In acocrdauco with the decision made at one preceding reunion, the next ono will take place jin the evening to enablo to bo present \ those old girls who arc occupied with duties in the daytime. It is hoped a good attendance will result in this effort to bring all together. It will be in the -usual place, commencing at 7.45
