Cold Temperatures In Little America
WARMER IN THE AIR

Advices from Little America state that despite bitter cold and threats of high winds the removal of the giant Condor biplane from its ice hangar is progressing rapidly. The job, which it was thought would require ten days, may be finished in four or five. With all hands using shovels 125 tons of snow and ice have been removed since Saturday.
Tho temperature is ranging from 45 degrees to 60 degrees below zero. The autogiro made two test flights and found that at an altitude of 2000 feet the temperaturo was about 25 degrees warmer than the temperature of 45 degrees below zero at the camp.
