CAPETOWN, September 19

Allegations that some foreign athletes who had taken part in the Women’s World Games at White City, London, recently, were of the masculine sex, have been made by Mr B. C. Sims, wianager of the South African Empire games team in his report to the South African Olympic and British Empire Games Association.

"The class of person representing foregin countries at these games is, to say the least, peculiar from my personal observations. Quite a number of outstanding foreign athletes shaved and had very deep voices and gave the impression of being of the masculine sex,’’ said Mr Sims,
