Steplca, the dam of Anitoa, was by St. Lcger front the Nordenf'eldt mare Stepfoklt, a sister to Stepniak and to She, the dam of Bobadil. Rebel Chief, who was runner-up in the second division, of the Novice Stakes on Saturday,, is a. half-brother to Gold Cross,
