World's Largest Airship
When, the new airship L.Z. 129, which is. nearing completion, is -finished Germany will have the largest airship in the world. That distinction is at present held by America with the Macon, bill L.Z. 129 will be slight' * longer, than the Macon. The new airship will have a gas capacity of 7,070,000 cubic feet, oil engines of 4100 horse power, and a range of 8000 miles without re-fueling.
