STATEMENT FOR AUGUST, 1934. Estates of a value of £662,024. were reported and accepted for administration by the Public Trustee during month. On March 31, 1934, tho total* value of the estates under administration by him was £60,700,493, and the new business for the live months ended August SI, 1934, was £2,701,646, compared with £2,167,778 for tho corresponding period last year. Grants of administration inado by the Court in favour of tho Public Trustco numbered 161 for the month. During the month 396 new wills appointing tho Public Trustee executor were deposited for safe custody by living testators and 372 existing wills were revised to provide for changes desired by testators. The total number of wills now held in the Public Trust Office is 82,336.
