Wedding of Interest to Feilding
J ACKSON —FITZGERALD. A pretty spring wedding of interest to Feilding and district was solemnised in Wellington at St. Paul’s Pro-Cathe-dral on Tuesday, when Prances, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. P. FitzGerald, of Campbell stroet, Peilding, was married to Ralph, son of Mr. and Mrs.. W. E. Jackson, formerly of Wellington and now of M'elbourno. Canon Percival James conducted the service. Tho bride, who was given in marriage by Mr. It. L. Macalister, wore a beautiful gown of ivory satin, w r ith long sleeves forming to points over the wrists and the skirt falling to a long train. Her veil of laco was worn over tho face and formed a train at the back. ■lt was held, in place with a wreath of tiny flowers and a bouquet of spring flowers completed a charming ensemble. In attendance were three maids, Misses Patricia Fitz Gerald (sister), Helen Ward (cousin) and Joan Plumber (cousin). All wore dressed alike in primrose spotted muslin, large primrose hats, yellow mittens and bouquets to tone. Mr. B. Cuthbertson was best man and Messrs William Fitz Gerald and H. Cathie groomsmen. A reception was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Macalister. Mrs. Macalister woro a frock of turquoise flat crepe with hat to tono. Mrs. T. F. Fitz Gerald wore a frock of dark blue marietta made with short coatee and hat to tone and her bouquet was in tones of red. Mr. and Mrs. Jackson will later take up residence on tho farm near Huntorville.
