Students’ Visits Abroad
Under the scheme for tho international cxchango of students, started two years ago, 1030 evening students at English institutes were to visit Continental' countries this year. The largest number, 356, were to go to Austria, 320 to Germany, 186 to France and tho remainder to Spain and Denmark. In July 130 German students wero to visit London and stay with private families. For four weeks thirty senior high school boys from Berlin -were to bo associated with school life in four London schools, and following the German boys’ visit to London, thirty English school boys who were their hosts were to visit Berlin. A visit to Germany was also to be paid by twenty English girls, who wero to remain for a month, and a similar scheme was being organised for thirty German girls to stay with English families.
