Recent Floods in India
OVER TWO HUNDRED VILLAGES INUNDATED. United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. CALCUTTA, September 4. Some idea of the damage done in Rigor by the recent floods may be gathered from a communique issued from Ranchi to-day. It states that in the Dinapore sub-division alone the area affected is 270 square miles and that 256 villages were inundated and 6500 houses destroyed.
