Mild Temperatures WELLINGTON, Last Night. A rather deep depression is still centred over the extreme north of the Dominion. At the same time there has been a rapid fall in the pressure over south-eastern Australia. Winds: Becoming south-east to southerly, moderate to strong north of Grevmouth an d Kaikoura, northerly and, freshening thence southwards with northorlies gradually extending northwa rus. Seas, New Zealand waters: Rather rough tci rough north of Farewell Spit and Kaikoura, elsewhere moderate. Eastern Tasman Sea: Aiodcrato to strong southerlies in the northern portion, light to moderate but increasing to northorlies in the southern portion; seas moderate to rather rough. YVcathcr: Cloudy to overcast over the eastern and northern districts with mist or fog in places and scattered showers or misty rain; fair elsewhere and temperatures mild.
