Fatal Air Crash

SEQUEL IN SUPREME COURT. Per Press Association. BLENHEIM, July 30. In the Blenheim Supremo Court this morning, a case was called, in which Mrs Winifred Gertrude Maindonald, of Christchurch, a widow, is proceeding against the Marlborough Aero Club and the New Zealand Airways, Ltd., Timaru, for £SOOO damages arising out of the death of her husband, Edgar Thomas Maindonald, of Rcefton, who lost his life as a result of a, crash at the Blenheim aerodrome on September 24th last year. On behalf of the New Zealand Airways, application was made for leave to take the evidence in Australia of Squadron-Leader Trevor Watts White, and His Honour, Mr Justico Reed, made an order accordingly. The matter will be called up again next session.
