Coleman and H. It. Lcenung were lined 10s with 10s costs for not having headlights correctly focussed. The Inspector (.Mr. H. J. Fowler) did not press for a heavy penalty, as the cases were intended for a warning. K. B. Wilson was fined £1 and costs 10s for using a motor vehicle not provided with a handbrake in working order, and having no reflector cost him another ill in all. , , ... , R. fc3. School Euchres Conclude. The series of euchre parties in aid of Bulls School funds, concluded on Friday ovening. : Mrs. I. Bevan won the ladies prize and the prize for the men wont to -Mr. B. M. On Tuesday, ladies of the Rangitikei Golf Club will play an all day tournament. The medal round starts at 13 o’clock, and prizes have' been given for silver, bronze and junior grades. Bulls Defence Rifle Club viisted Marton on Sunday and fired a match against the newly formed Marton Defence Club, the visitors winning by 28 points. Mr. A. J. B. Siceiy welcomed the visitors and warmly congratulated the Bulls men on their win. Mr. Dalrymple responded, and congratulated the Martonlans on their enthusiasm, wishing them every success.
